Taco Meat for Simple Weeknight Beef Tacos

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef 15% fat
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped fine
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  1. Add a little bit of oil to skillet and cook onions and garlic until soft. Add ground beef and brown, stirring, until cooked through. Add remaining ingredients plus a couple of tablespoons of water ad cook stirring occasionally until liquid is absorbed, about five minutes.

    Serve in taco shells with shredded lettuce and cheese and other desired toppings.
